| Title: | Plate Fragment with Paint Decoration | |
| Category: | Pottery | |
| Description: | Preserved is the center of the dish, with the low foot ring, and at one point a suggestion of the upcurving side wall. Part of the painted design remains, a pleasing conventional russet, on a white slip. Coarse clay, pink to buff. Inside the glaze is a greenish white; outside, covering partly the foot, it is slightly greener, with mottlings of brown, where apparently the slip was omitted or had rubbed off. | |
