Description:   Fragment from the center of a Western Sigillata plate.
Within three circular grooves, a large foot-shaped stamp with the letters: E L V
Deep pink clay; the underside unglazed; covered with a buff slip. The top glazed with a lustrous but rather coarse red.
Local imitation of one of the finer Roman wares?
