Solid black glaze only around the bottom; the rest of the vase decorated with narrow black bands and with a zone of chevrons on the body, and on the neck a maeander between two zones of connected lozenges. Short strokes on the top of the lip; on the handle, black glaze on one side; on the other, none; the inside also unglazed. Pinkish buff clay, much peeled. | |
