Description:   Single triangular piece of outer floor. Shallow rounded bottom and wall; slight offsets define floor and base. Outer part of stamped decoration visible on floor: two radially set narrow palm branches within, and overlapping two grooves.
Rather gritty ware, with polished slip on upper surface. African red slip ware.
Shape as Hayes L.R.P. form 61B, stamps near type 17. Style A iii, ca. A.D. 420-450.

Context:   From mixed fills. In lot with late 4th-early 5th century and a few mid-5th century items.
