Description:   Single piece, preserving almost one-quarter of rim and wall, with part of bottom; center lost. Wide flat base with ill-defined edge; slight ridge on interior. Rounded sloping wall, curving up to a rounded lip, with slight chamfer on outside. No decoration.
Clean-breaking red ware, Africana C series, of medium thickness, with thin slip, fading out halfway down exterior. African red slip ware.
Treatment as Hayes L.R.P. form 50, but proportions are those of the decorated form 62B. Ca. A.D. 400 or just after?
