Title:   Black Figure Lekythos Fragment

Description:   Two joining fragments of lower body; foot missing.
Lower wall black glazed with one broad and one thin stripe above. Four maenads moving right. Lower bodies only of three, but central complete. She is attacked by a satyr who grabs her at the waist. Branches in field between figures. Hasty incision. Added white for flesh, dress folds. Added red fabric designs.
Fine orange fabric; dull black glaze, streaky.
