Body glaze running just onto lip, then a broad band containing a loose zigzag in thinned glaze, the lower bays of which have been filled in with black glaze. Another band on rim; reserved stripe on lip inside. Hard pale buff to gray clay, probably from smoke. Dull adherent black glaze of good quality. | |
