Description:		Base preserved in a single fragment. Hollow, with opening through the resting surface, flares out at top to join some wider area, but is peculiarly pared. Good red glaze; buff clay. Cf. P 21744, P 21656. ADDENDA Formerly identified as the base of an unguentarium; now as the handle of a bowl.
Context:		Panathenaic Way, cut II, strosis 6. Context 2nd.-1st. c. B.C.
