Description:   Part of handle missing. General type as P 24316 (ΣΑ 2526): This is the characteristic general type for the large proportion of the lekythoi from this group. Bell mouth with variations in height and spread; lip usually reserved, occasionally glazed. Disk foot of varying thickness; below picture either one or two reserved lines. Added colors more or less well preserved. Only substantial variations are noted in the following descriptions.
Shoulder: dots above dotted lotus bud (skipping two).
Above scene: double row of dots.
Scene: two women seated under a tree picking fruit; two round baskets in front of them.
The subject occurs on a black figured lekythos in Vienna (739, 6, CVA. Univ. pl. 6,11) attributed to Class of Athens 581; also on one at Eleusis (photo J.T.). Cf. also skyphos fragments from the RRCS Hesperia 15 (1946), pl. 47:97.
