Description:   Small fragments missing from lip; restored in plaster. Shape type I (R-M); double rolled handle.
Panel on right side filled with lion head, to right. Pot-hooks pendent from top; in field, filling ornaments: maeander, zigzag, lozenges and one schematic flower. On the reverse are two reserved triangles so placed as to suggest a great round eye.
The front part of the head in outline; the muzzle stippled; the mane and tongue glazed solid, with added purple over. Incision. Thin black glaze, much flaked.
Context:   Well behind Stoa Shop XVIII.
