| Description: | Intact, except for chips. Flat-bottomed pot wth flaring concave sides resembling a kalathos. Plain rim, flat on top. Two short horizontal handles attached below rim. Decoration: outside, a broad band of glaze at the rim; three narrow bands below the handle attachments; a narrow and a broad band at the bottom. On the rim, wavy line. Interior, a broad band at the rim, then, between two narrow bands, a figured zone: two large fish swimming right, and a waterbird catching at the tail of one of them. Below, three glazed bands, and the center at the bottom glazed. Heavy fabric; pale buff clay; red glaze. | |
