Description:   Low ring foot; low, pronounced shoulder sloping up to high straight vertical rim; rolled handles, tilted upwards. On rim, front and back, two metopes, each containing plump goose with scored body. Above handles on rim, three zones of ornament. On shoulder zig-zag line in narrow panel, between triple band; glazed below. Between panels and handles, a dot rosette. Interior glazed, except for reserved band just inside lip.
Glaze fired reddish. Fine workmanship and design.
Context:   Grave 2, inside pithos.
