| Description: | Mended from many fragments, most burned, some not; large parts of the body and all of the handle missing. Restored in plaster. Low slightly flaring ring foot and round body with level of greatest diameter low; narrow neck and shallow trefoil mouth. Glazed to level of greatest diameter; below the shoulder a hatched maeander running left between triple lines below and double above. Latticed triangles on the shoulder (four). The neck narrowed and bordered above and below by double lines; between them a triple band of key pattern. The mouth, and the neck under the handle, glazed. Clay buff to gray when burned; thick black glaze, badly peeled: a narrow reserved zone filled by a horizontal line around the lower body above the foot. | |
