| Description: | Mended from many pieces, some burned and some not; small fragments of the body missing, and all of the lower part of the flaring ring foot (perhaps restored too high). Rather tall ovoid body, short neck, slightly concave, and trefoil mouth. Covered over all with thick, slightly shiny glaze, black to reddish-brown. A reserved zone at the level of greatest diameter bordered above and below by triple horizontal lines and decorated with sets of opposed diagonals, the triangles between sets filled in with glaze. A long reserved panel at front and sides of neck decorated with hatched maeander, running to left, between pairs of horizontal lines above and below. Ladder pattern on outer face of band handle. | |
