| Description: | Many fragments preserving complete profile and most of ring foot. Low ring foot, squat body, vertical handles with large projecting thumb-rests; two scraped grooves at plain rim, another below decorated zone. Just below rim decorated band in clay paint and thick white: long concentric rectangles with three white dots at center, alternating with narrow panels of checkerboard in black and white; on thumb-rests diagonals and cross lines and rectangular border; white dots in each section and center. Slightly metallic black glaze inside and out. Miltos in grooves. Cf. P 16239, P 16240. | |
