| Description: | Mended from many pieces; small part of rim and walls missing. In medallion, small head (Athena Parthenos?). Above, five rows of small ribbed leaves. In the figured zone, hunters on horseback and afoot attacking a wild boar(?) with dogs, one of which has leapt onto the boar's back. Erotes in the field. Upper zone, a band of rosettes surmounted by double spirals topped at intervals by small leaves. Good black metallic glaze. Miltos prominent in the scraped groove beneath the rim and around the medallion. | |
