| Description: | Restored in plaster. Flaring ring foot and plump ovoid body; slightly concave neck and trefoil mouth. Body reserved except for outer face of foot, double band half way on shoulder, and wide band bordered by narrow ones below shoulder. On shoulder, two sets of compass drawn concentric half circles at the front; wavy verticals between them and to the side. Pendent tails beside handle attachment at the back. The neck reserved, except for glaze band at its base; inner and outer faces of lip glazed. On handle, St. Andrew's cross. Soft pinkish-buff clay; dull glaze, black to reddish-brown, much worn and peeled. | |
