| Description: | Small piece of rim missing. Somewhat similar to P 16480 and P 16481 (ΓΓ 935, ΓΓ 936), but deeper; the wall rounded below, straight above, the lip flat on top but not projecting. Rather large handle, not up-tilted. Indifferent black glaze over all. ADDENDA P 16481: Similar to P 16480 (ΓΓ 935), but the foot a little lower and more rounded, and the wall, flaring widely below, curves in at the top. Plain rounded lip. Stubby handle, the attachments well apart, the end up-tilted. P 16480: High ring foot with angular profile; wall flaring, then nearly vertical. Flat-topped projecting lip. The handle draws in at the attachments. | |
