| Description: | Small piece of rim missing. Similar to P 16480 (ΓΓ 935), but the foot a little lower and more rounded, and the wall, flaring widely below, curves in at the top. Plain rounded lip. Stubby handle, the attachments well apart, the end up-tilted. Fair glaze, considerably chipped, over all; black outside, red to black inside. ADDENDA P 16480: High ring foot with angular profile; wall flaring, then nearly vertical. Flat-topped projecting lip. The handle draws in at the attachments. | |
