| Description: | Toe, upper part of neck, lip and much of body missing. Body and toe restored in plaster. Shape similar to P 16063 (ΓΓ 745), but the body more elongated, tapering to what must have been a plain blunted toe. Soft brown micaceous clay with bits; fired gray at core; flaked at various points on surface. ADDENDA P 16063: Plump ovoid body tapering sharply to a short toe, a small depression in its center. Short wide neck forming continuous curve with sloping shoulder. Plain thickened lip, flat on top, flaring, and marked off from neck outside by a groove. Handles short, from below lip to middle of shoulder. | |
