Title:		Pyxis Lid: Type A

Description:		Central knob broken off, and chips missing from top and flange. Flat-topped lid with an inset flange, its outer profile concave. Black glaze on the outer face of the flange, and for a circle surrounded by two bands on the reserved underside of the lid. The top patterned in three zones: around the knob, egg and dot; then encircled palmettes, once interrupted by double lotus.
