Title:   Mold Fragment for Bowl

Description:   Broken all around and at back. Mold for slightly convex object; bowl? Trace of edge of wall at bottom. Two figures preserved and traces of others at sides of fragment: man in short pleated tunic, playing pipes and dancing; woman in chiton and himation (head and shoulders missing) also dancing.
Coarse brick-red clay.
Context:   Area of West Retaining Wall of road; 1m. strip of red sandy fill south of 1778 wall; late Roman, early Byz.
