| Description: | One handle and part of wall and much of rim missing; restored in plaster. A deep cup, the rim only slightly offset. A low moulding at top of stem. The foot has a bevelled outer edge and broad resting surface. Purple on moulding at top of stem. Reserved: the bearing surface of the foot, and outer edge. Pinkish-buff clay; black glaze mostly fired greenish. Note wear at two sides of foot and at corresponding points on wall and lip. | |
