Description:		Much of one side remains with part of the rim. Deep conical lid; plain rim. A band of horses, grazing to right. An elaborate palmette and scroll ornament under each horse, a few scattered smaller filling ornaments, and zigzags above. Above the band three brown lines, then a zone of broad black verticals. Below, a zone of hooks, between narrow lines. Two lines at edge of lip. Solid horse silhouette save for reserved eye, hatched mane and curly forelock, and three-strand tail. Soft pink to buff clay and black glaze; inside plain.
Context:		Tholos trench L, area of early road, layer 10.
