| Description: | Mended from three pieces; less than half the circumfernce preserved with part of the shoulder. Depicts Dionysos on a donkey between two maenads. Missing from the scene: all of the left hand woman save her hand and arm; the legs and hind quarters of the ass; the legs of Dionysos; and of the right hand woman, all save the front of the head, one shoulder, and an arm. Incision for interior details and a few contours; added white for the women's flesh, and for ornaments on Dionysos' robe and that of the right hand maenad and for the ass's muzzle. On the shoulder, rays. | |
