| Description: | Mended from three pieces. Fragment from wall of large open vase, probably bell krater. A partly draped, wreathed, figure (Dionysos?) is seated in a chair, left; over his legs falls an elaborately ornamented cloak; his left arm rests on the back of the chair; his right arm holds a tall staff. Behind him, part of a draped standing woman, left. In front, the hand of a figure, right, holding out a phiale. Above, the lower part of a nude standing figure on a much smaller scale (Eros). Relief contour for most of the flesh outlines. Drawing glaze largely brown. White for the bracelet of the standing female figure. Shiny black, somewhat cracked, inside. | |
