| Description: | From the side of a shallow bowl, on a very low flat base. Boy on horseback, galloping right. Most of the boy preserved; none of the horse's extremities. The boy wears a short tunic, or a jacket with sleeves, coming to the thighs, has short curly hair. His right hand is raised, his left holds the reins; he leans and looks back, left. Star on horse's flank. Fine thin red clay, good red glaze. Late Roman A. | |
