| Description: | Shoulder, handle and part of the lip preserved. Base and most of the body missing. Restored in plaster. Figured panel bordered above by egg and dart, below by egg and dot; reserved lines on sides. In the center of the panel, a horse; facing it, right and left, two youths, each with fillet and himation; behind the horse, hanging from a peg, a fillet. Most of middle scene missing. No relief contours. Fillets and peg in clay-colored relief. Hard black glaze outside and inside neck; thinner glaze inside body. ADDENDA Above the first youth, inscription: <graphic>, above the second, inscription: <graphic> The lower left corner of the figured scene not properly placed (if, indeed, it belongs). | |
