Two women facing; right hand figure, in chiton and himation, preserved only from below knees; left hand figure, in chiton with girt-in apoptygma, from below shoulders; on her outstretched right hand is supported a large box. Reserved ground line; relief contours used only against clay-colored ground, e.g. upper right arm, and for interior drawing. Brush border for chiton; dilute glaze for decoration of box. Very hard, lustrous ground, somewhat metallic. Dainty work. | |
