On rim, herringbone pattern.
On discus, Christian monogram; the bars are hatched; in the right quarter an "omega"; the left quarter (containing the "alpha"?) broken away; at the bottom, on either side of the stem of the "rho", a filling hole.
Handle solid; double grooved.
Thin purple glaze.
Mottled gray and black clay.
