Title:   Handle Fragment of Lamp: Maker's Mark

Description:   Part of right edge remains.
From the handle-shield of a large lamp.
Hollow, its front face moulded in relief: an elaborate floral design which apparently included a figure, whose left hand remains. Incised in the still moist clay of the reverse the letters: "R Ο Μ".
Buff clay covered with thin reddish wash.
