Description:   Mended from several fragments; complete save for chips.
Rim panelled with herringbone and impressed circles. On the discus a fine lion, seated right; hatched ground line, single filling hole to left above. Solid handle; triple grooved above and double below. On the bottom two irregular circular grooves.
Purplish-red glaze wash.
Pinkish-buff clay.
Type XXVIII of Corinth collection.
Context:   Late fill, brown earth below soft green and above broken bedrock.
