| Description: | Preserved complete in five joining fragments. (Three fragments, one corroded against part of a second bit-shaped object, IL 1066, and one corroded against light spearhead IL 1059). Composed of two sections, equal in length, the whole resembling in shape a snaffle bit. Sections are joined by interlocking loops at one end; the other end of each section is terminated in a free loop. Constructed from two interlocking strands of iron twisted to form shaft.
