| Description: | Inscribed tripod base. Broken at right; part of face missing. Back surface rough picked, probably from later re-working. Anathyrosis on left end. Top rough picked and has cutting for foot (?) of tripod with deeper dowel inset. Face smoothly finished. Bottom is worn and has crude semi-circular grooves (from use as wine-press?) and very large and deep dowel (?). Joining fragment at lower front extends the reading of the third line. Pentelic marble. | |
