Description:   Inscribed fragment of early Christian Epitaph.
Top, beveled right side and back preserved; cut from a fragment of revetment, sawn behind.
Three lines of the inscription preserved.
Pentelic marble.
Context:   Found in demolition of mediaeval walls in the northwest corner of the Market Square, north of the railway.
