Description:		Inscribed fragment of columnar grave monument. Part of original top and about one-third columnar surface preserved; broken below. Present inscription written over an earlier one, cf. lines 1 and 2, third letter in each. Three lines of the inscription preserved. Hymettian marble.
Context:		Found in modern wall, on the north slope of the Areopagus.
