Description:   Left corner of inscribed block.
Epigram commemorating the victory over the Persians.
Fragment Θ 50 a), top smooth; bottom, very fine picked; side, anathyrosis. Broken at back and right.
Face dressed with two smooth finished and two picked bands, on the former of which appears the inscription, four lines, in groups of two each.
Fragment Θ 50 b), the right side of this block appears in IG I2, no. 763.
Pentelic marble.
Brought from Epigraphical Museum to Agora Museum on 6th of February 1960 (EM 6739).
Context:   Found in the wall of the modern house 636/17, northeast of the Heliaia.
