Title:		Prytany Decree Fragments
Category:		Inscriptions
Description:		Inscribed fragments. Two fragments, which join, preserve the width and thickness of the stele; broken at top and bottom. Tapering lightly toward the top. Sides smooth picked; back rough. The upper part contains the end of a decree, the lower part the beginning of a list of names arranged by tribes. The left hand fragment contains nine lines of text and fifteen names, with a blank space below the last line. The right hand fragment contains twenty lines of text and twelve names. The letters hastily cut; the stone encrusted with a hard lime deposit. A third fragment, found later, joins directly to the top of the left hand fragment. Hymettian marble.
