| Description: | Preserves part of bottom and a third of body and rim. Flat bottom; sharply convex body curving continuously to high, concave neck with flaring rim. On shoulder (presumably at level of handle attachment) a careless lozenge chain; neck divided into panels by sets of five verticals: in narrow panel (one preserved) three short zigzags; in wide panels (two preserved) an animal (goat or deer?) with solid body and outlined head thrown back, at gallop. Series of dots on upper edge of lip; inside unglazed except for two glaze bands below lip. Pale brown clay with grit; creamy slip with slightly greenish tinge; dull black glaze, badly worn. | |
