| Description: | Handle probably from a pitcher. Orange buff clay. ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a large closed shape (probably amphora or hydria) preserving part of a large vertical ridge section handle. The decoration consists of a medium band around the base of the handle and the exterior of the handle is outlined with medium bands. There are two holes pierced at the base to aid in firing. The paint is thick and evenly applied, fired a dull orange. There are no traces of use-wear or burning. | |
