Title:   Stirrup Jar Fragment: Linear

Description:   False neck with raised knob from a stirrup vase.
Brown and black on pale buff.
ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a stirrup jar with conical false spout and a single, partially-preserved, oval section vertical handle. The top of the false spout is decorated with concentric circles. The handle is outlined.
The paint is thick, but unevenly applied, and so fired pale to dark brown. There are no traces of use-wear or burning.
