| Description: | Side, rim and handle of a shallow bowl. Orange on buff. ADDENDA 2018: Five sherds mended into the complete profile of a conical incurving bowl with a single horizontal, round-section handle and ring base. The exterior decoration consists of a medium band running below the rim. There are an additional two medium bands running below the handle zone. The handle is decorated with multisplash decoration. The interior is monochrome. The paint is thick, but somewhat unevenly applied, fired orange. There are no traces of use-wear. On the interior there is a small roughly circular patch of burning near the rim, possibly from use as a lamp. Furumark Shape: 242 | |
