| Description: | Base, side and handle of large tankard. Orange on buff. ADDENDA 2018: Single sherd to a medium sized mug with slightly splaying flat base and a partially preserved vertical strap handle. The exterior decoration consists of three medium bands at the junction of the wall and the base. The bottom of the base is undecorated. The interior is apparently unslipped and undecorated. The paint is somewhat thin, but evenly fired dark red. There are no obvious signs of use-wear or burning. Furumark Shape: 226 | |
