| Category: | Pottery | |
| Description: | Side and rim of a skyphos. Brown on buff. ADDENDA 2018: Three joining sherds to a small deep bowl with slightly flaring rim. No other features are preserved. The decoration on the exterior includes a narrow lip band and at least one medium band below the handles, of which only a small trace remains. The handle zone features panelled decoration, consisting of a central lozenge flanked by triglyphs. Interior features a double band on the interior of the rim. The paint is thick and evenly applied. The paint is fired dark brown. There are traces of vertical use-wear on the exterior, just below the rosetted, exactly mid-way between the handles. The rim above this spot is poorly preserved, but appears also to exhibit the usual bevel caused from use as a scoop. There are no traces of burning.
