Mended with missing pieces restored in plaster and painted. Glazed on underside. H. to top of knob: 0.067; diam. 0.195.

From the center out: tongue pattern; satyrs and maenads. Two satyrs (small pieces missing), one to left, the other to right, rush toward a maenad who runs to left, looking back, a torch in her left hand (tip missing). She wears a fillet around her head and a peplos. The left satyr holds a thyrsos in his right hand. On the ground between them is a drinking horn. Behind the satyrs are two more maenads (head of left, hands; face, all of right arm, part of left, part of garment of right missing), both to left (the head of the left maenad probably faced right because her body is frontal). Each wears a peplos; the right also wears a nebris, has a fillet around her head, and holds a torch in her left hand. On rim, tongue pattern. Preliminary sketch. Dilute glaze (very faint): muscles. White: fillets.
