Flat resting surface; pointed underside. Convex wall with groove at one-third height, flaring at top. Lip undercut on inside. Slight nipple at center of floor. Dull to metallic black glaze with stacking circle, red underneath; finger marks on foot and lower wall.

Closely similar and from same context: P 3183 and P 3320 (H. A. Thompson 1934, E 1, E 11, p. 394, fig. 82 and fig. 116 on p. 433), the latter with no groove in wall.
