Nearly horizontal shoulder. Two scraped grooves at base of neck.

Flaring rim with upturned edge, concave to inside. Strap handle with ivy-leaf thumb rest, from lip to shoulder. Fine, slightly micaceous, light red fabric (2.5YR 6/8); dull mottled brown glaze.

Body could have been moldmade. Handle and fabric unusual; possibly an import.
