Scraped groove below lower handle attachment, at junction of neck and body, and below rim molding. Rim inclined above molding, concave inside. Neck: alternating lozenges and white dots. Shoulder: checkerboard flanked by concentric rectangles, with panel containing branch(?) at ends. Shiny black glaze.
