Fragment of rim (a) and fragment of floor, near foot (b).

Very flat floor with trace of rouletting at inner edge of fragment b. Vertical rim offset from floor. Extremely micaceous, very hard and fine but friable fabric, red (2.5YR 5.6) with very dark grayish brown core (2.5YR 3/2); hard, dark gray to brown glaze, very micaceous, with a slightly soapy feel.

Shape and quality of fabric and glaze relates piece to gray wares, despite color of fabric.
