Flaring foot; curved resting surface; slightly pointed underside.

Strap handle. Decoration in red to brown glaze: band on foot and at base of neck; one broad band with two narrow ones above and below at belly; on shoulder, corolla of lotus petals with jeweled ribs alternating with rays. Hard, somewhat coarse, very micaceous, light red fabric (2.5YR 6/6) with black, red, and white inclusions; dull, pink slip (5YR 7/3).
